Cordless Rotary Hammer Makita is powered by a 40V lithium-ion battery and an efficient Brushless motor with high power that provides up to 500 rpm, powerful yet easy to operate and delivers high power for professional work, and  2-mode operation for "Hammering with Rotation" or "Hammering Only".

Lithium Ion Extreme Technology: The LXT System was the world’s first 18V lithium-ion cordless tool. LXT Products deliver premium power and run time for consistent results in commercial applications. It has a charge time of just 45 minutes when using the Makita rapid charger with the added convenience of an LED charge level indicator. Brushless motor: The Makita Brushless motor is precision-engineered to be up to 50% more efficient than a brushed model. Active Feedback Sensing Technology: Smart function to minimize the effect of kickback. Shuts down the tool, if the rotation of bit or disc is suddenly forced to stop. Active Feedback Sensing Technology uses an onboard accelerometer to measure rotation and electronically turns off the motor if rotation is suddenly forced to stop. In addition, the torque-limiting clutch is engineered to prevent gear damage by automatically disengaging the gears.

Auto Start Wireless System: Auto Start Wireless System (AWS) uses Bluetooth technology for wireless power on and power off communication between the equipped tool and dust extractor. Once connected via AWS, your dust extractor will automatically power on or off when your cordless tool starts or stops, running only when your cordless tool is in use.
