The DKP181RTJ cordless Cordless Woodshop Planer is powered by an 18V Li-ion LXT slide type battery, to supply energy to the powerful brushless motor, with a soft start, to deliver up to 1,200 rpm for increased cutting performance. The Cordless Woodshop Planer DKP181RTJ is equipped with a front base featuring 3 chamfering groove options, spring loaded stand to elevate the base, protecting the blades and workpiece, a guide rule for accurate planing width and the chip ejection can be directed to either side of the planer, away from the user for added convenience. The depth of the cut can be adjusted by turning a knob on the front.
